What a great success for our first year! We are busy planning the details of our 2nd Annual Mardi Gras On Main and we can't wait to see you all there! Stay tuned for details and join us on Facebook for updates!
A fun for all ages street festival is coming to La Porte! While we don't want to give away all of our secrets just yet, we can assure you you will want to mark your calendar now! Join us for three full hours of the Mambo Jazz Kings, food trucks, stilt walkers, face painters, the King & Queen, and much more!
While this is a free event to the public, the Craft Beer Garden (pay to get in!), Market (free to browse but vendors will be selling their products), and Food Trucks (well that's just obvious!) will not be free! Entertainment, balloon artists, band, dancing, and fun are all on the house!
Planning on participating in the fun and not looking to drive home after? Excellent! Make sure you check out all of our hotels available here in La Porte.
The Mambo Jazz Kings have been playing music for a remarkable 25 years. They are a high energy dance band that can lay down every funky beat from Earth Wind and Fire to Beyonce. The band’s resume of music also includes the big band sounds of Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, and Glen Miller.
The Mambo Jazz Kings, have been entertaining audiences both young and old from stages of concerts, festivals, and night clubs. Nine fantastic guys and one exciting lady take the stage every night. The band has an outstanding rhythm section, a powerful horn ensemble, and three vocalists that will keep you moving until the very end!

*Please note that this is a family friendly festival where children are welcome and encouraged to attend! We will have all hands on deck when it comes to security and will have over 20 first responders working the event. We will not tolerate any behavior that is not family appropriate and will not hesitate to escort anyone acting out of line out of the event. La Porte has a long history of small town feel family events and traditions like Christmas on Main and other functions and while we are excited to hopefully have people from all over the Houston area attend our fantastic new street festival, we want to make sure that everyone, children and adults, feel safe!
